GAIF2026 brings Arab and international insurance markets together to unlock business opportunities and forge new partnerships

Business opportunities and direct networking will be at the heart of the 35th General Conference of the General Arab Insurance Federation (GAIF2026), which will bring together insurance and reinsurance companies and other industry stakeholders in a professional setting designed to build relationships, explore avenues for cooperation and connect participants with potential partners and clients from Arab and international markets.
The Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan will host the conference, organised by the General Arab Insurance Federation and the Jordan Insurance Federation, at the King Hussein Bin Talal Convention Centre at the Dead Sea from October 4 to 7, 2026, under the theme “Back to Principles”.
More than 1,500 participants from 44 countries have registered for the conference, including representatives from 21 Arab and 23 non-Arab countries. With registration continuing, attendance is expected to reach around 2,000, expanding opportunities for companies to engage with senior executives, policymakers, regulators, experts and representatives of insurance, reinsurance and related institutions.
Beyond its five specialised sessions, the conference programme includes extended daily periods dedicated to networking and business meetings. These will take place across meeting rooms, exhibition stands, the networking area and a dedicated business-to-business (B2B) meeting zone, enabling companies to move directly from discussing industry issues to exploring practical opportunities for cooperation.
The Meeting Hub, available through the GAIF2026 app and website, supports this experience before participants arrive at the Dead Sea. It allows users to search for individuals and companies, send and accept meeting requests, reschedule appointments and receive notifications and reminders, helping them attend the conference with confirmed meeting schedules and clearly defined business priorities.
Networking services through the platform will remain available before, during and after the conference, allowing connections established at the Dead Sea to develop into agreements, partnerships and longer-term cooperation between participating companies and markets.
GAIF2026 will therefore offer an experience that extends beyond conventional conference attendance, bringing together specialist knowledge, decision-makers, business meetings, exhibition stands and direct networking opportunities in one place. This combination enhances the professional and commercial value of participation in one of the leading gatherings of the Arab and international insurance industry.
