GAIF 2026 has announced the speakers and moderators for its five main sessions, to be held at the Dead Sea from October 4 to 7, 2026.
The opening session on insurance principles and digital transformation will feature Hitesh Kotak, Chief Executive for Asia and the Middle East (Non-Life) at Munich Re, and will be moderated by Hany Abboud, General Manager of Guardian Insurance and Reinsurance Brokers and Consultants.
Belhassen Tonat, Chief Underwriting Officer at Riyadh Re, and Elie Abi Rached, Chief Executive Officer for Global Operations at Chedid Re, will address emerging-risk modelling and underwriting in a session moderated by Dima Shatarah, Partner and Risk Consulting Leader at ETG.
Andre Eisele, Chief Business Officer at Trigger Parametric, will examine parametric insurance and catastrophe-risk challenges, with Christina Chalita, Senior Vice-President at NASCO Re, moderating the discussion.
Dana Barhoumeh, FSA, CERA, Responsible Actuary and Consulting Actuary, will discuss actuarial applications in artificial intelligence and machine learning. The session will be moderated by Dr Mutaz M. Al-Debei, Professor of Technology Management and Emerging Technologies.
The final session on catastrophe bonds and alternative capital will feature Ouafae Mriouah, Chief Executive Officer of Atlantic Re, and will be moderated by Dr Adnan Abu Al-Haija, Chief Risk Officer at RAK Insurance.
