Over 1,500 participants from 44 countries register for GAIF2026

More than 1,500 participants from 44 countries have registered for GAIF2026, the 35th General Conference of the General Arab Insurance Federation. They represent 21 Arab and 23 non-Arab countries, while total attendance is expected to reach around 2,000 as registration continues.
The Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan will host the conference, organised by the General Arab Insurance Federation and the Jordan Insurance Federation, at the Dead Sea from October 4 to 7, 2026, under the theme “Back to Principles”.
The geographical diversity of participants reflects the conference’s broad Arab and international reach, bringing together representatives from markets across the Gulf, the Levant and North Africa, as well as Europe, Asia, Africa and the Americas.
The conference will bring together senior executives, policymakers, regulators, experts and industry professionals, alongside representatives of insurance and reinsurance companies and other sector-related institutions.
This diverse participation will provide a professional platform for exchanging expertise, discussing the transformations shaping the insurance industry and exploring opportunities for cooperation and partnerships between Arab and global markets.
Hosting the conference at the Dead Sea will also reinforce Jordan’s position as a destination for major economic and professional events, while supporting the tourism, hospitality, transport and service sectors by attracting participants and delegations from around the world.
